In May 2017 I received a message from Upwork with a special promotion with 0% fee when I bring my own client to Upwork (I am a Top rated freelancer) and I received an invitation linked to send it to my client for register and activate this 0% fee. A few days ago, I send it to my client and he registered and started a Upwork contract and now, when the contracted is just ended I realized that I have standard 20% fee. What to do in this situation? It's obvious that I was not intended to bring my client to pay 20% to Upwork.

I have been maintaining a JSS of +90% for quite some time now. Now my top-rated eligible weeks are showing 10 of 16 for the past some time. I don't know why it isn't increasing.

In order for the number of eligible weeks to increase, your non-eligible weeks will need to be "pushed out" of the past 16-weeks. Once this happens, the number of eligible weeks will start increasing, provided you meet the requirements. If an eligible week falls off of the calculation each week, the total number of eligible weeks won't increase. Hi there, I'm a Top-Rated freelancer and I want to bring a client that I have from outside Upwork to start working through Upwork.
I heard there is a link that I can send my client so that we will be able to work together without paying any fees. Where can I get such a link?
Also, does the 0 fees apply only if you are still Top-Rated? for example, if Now I'm Top-Rated and in half a year I'll not be top-rated anymore, will fees apply?
In addition, does, the 0 fees apply also to the client? or only to my fees as a freelancer?

As for your question, yes, the 0% on all contracts you have with that client will remain even if you lose your Top-Rated status. Your client will be charged the Client Payment Processing Fees, and corresponding membership fees if they choose to upgrade their account membership.

Yes you`re eligible to have 0% fee on your contract. Our team will send you an email with steps to follow on how to receive the 0% fee on your contract.

When I fist got Top Rated-- some 8 months ago-- I got this offer from Upwork (on May 4). My question is: does the same link still stand valid ?
I'm asking because in the mean time I'd lost my TR status for some 3½ months.
The initiative is highly appreciable... no-doubt profitable for freelancers !
But just out ouf curiosity: wanted to know how the Upwork business profits from this 0% fee ? If it doesn't then why this offer ?! (This is not my main question, though.)

if you've received the email notification related to this promotion, you can share the link included in the email with an off-Upwork who would like to create an account and hire you on the platform, which they can do through the mentioned link.
