Hello,
In May 2017 I received a message from Upwork with a special promotion with 0% fee when I bring my own client to Upwork (I am a Top rated freelancer) and I received an invitation linked to send it to my client for register and activate this 0% fee. A few days ago, I send it to my client and he registered and started a Upwork contract and now, when the contracted is just ended I realized that I have standard 20% fee. What to do in this situation? It's obvious that I was not intended to bring my client to pay 20% to Upwork.
Thank you!

Hello,
If there are fees from client side, how can freelancer motivate him/her to bring them on Upwork?

Neha Z.

I believe that program is only for top-rated freelancers. Do a forum search and you'll find some threads about it.

Helo, Everybody.
I read some topic about 0% service fee when I call the client to upwork.
I'm Rising Talent not top rated and I want to get 0% service fee with my own client of outside.
Can I get 0% service fee?

Hi,
I have a new client outside Upwork. I am planning to ask her to assign me the task on Upwork. When I made a little research about this, I found out that only top rated freelancers and rising talents are entitled to benefit from 0% Upwork fee campaign.
I am neither a rising talent nor a top rated member. My question is, even though I am not eligible for 0% fee, would there be any reduction from usual service fee (20%) when I bring my own client? And is there any other cost, fee etc. for the client side? (I have never been on the client side before.)
Thank you.
Nov 11, 2019 09:58:11 AM by Bojan S
Hi Ozan,
That is correct, Bring Your Own Client program is currently only available for Top Rated and Rising Talent freelancers. If you are not meeting those requirements, you can still send a link to your profile to your client and they can sign up for an Upwork account and hire you for a contract. You'll be paying the standard service fee and your client will still be charged the payment processing fee.
Thank you!

Hello,
I have received a personalized invitation link on 16th October by email.
I sent it to my client and since I have been waiting for him to register.
How long does the program take? I'm afraid that I will lose that opportunity.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,
Andrea

The link will stay active as long as you remain top rated. Clearly you can not force your client to sign up to Upwork, and it's really something between and your non-Upwork client. There isn't anything Upwork can do about it.
Maybe that client does not want to sign up to Upwork?

But how much charge client has to pay from his end?
Thanks
