15 hours of work randomly refunded. There was no dispute or anything

I had 15 hours of work set to pay tomorrow, but I wake up today to find that these hours/payment have been refunded. My first thought was that I had a dispute that I failed to respond to in time, but this was not the case. Just *poof*, my work gone out of nowhere. I really need to get in contact with someone from upwork to help me get to the bottom of this, but I can't find any way of speaking to a human from their support.

As far as I know, freelancers are not necessarily notified if a client disputes time segments and Upwork deletes those time segments that don't qualify for Upwork Payment Protection.

I have now way of knowing if this is what happened. But this is the first thing that I thought of when I read what happened to you.

Were these hours manually logged? Did you use meaningful memos?
