17 proposals later...

Hey! I want someone to have a look at my profile and notify me if something's amiss. I am new to upwork, but managed to get one job last week. The client was quite happy with what I delivered and gave me a 5 star review. I'm aware that writers should stick to their niche and shouldn't just blindly apply everywhere. I compose my proposals with extra care and make sure they're grammatically accurate. Why am I not getting any new jobs then? Am I doing something wrong or what?

Regards,
Farah

Hi Farah,

Submitting proposals doesn't always guarantee that you will get hired or get a chance to be interviewed, but you shouldn't give up on sending proposals to potential clients. You may check our Resource Corner and find some excellent topics there:

When you apply for jobs, make sure your proposal is well written and that you're absolutely qualified and certain of your ability to complete the job you're applying for.

Thank you.
