First of all, I would say. These things really don't make any difference, it's upto you, how well can you perform, while writting a proposal, delivering services, etc..
Coming back to your question, I think, that should not affect your Marketing effectiveness or ranking, however it may depend upon the reason you were not interviewed..
The reason can be, because the client din't interview anyone, that should not affect your ranking...
But, if client interviewed others, it may affect your ranking...
