Hi guys,
Recently I became a subject of a dispute where I was exposed to (proven to be) false accusations. At first, I even received 90 contacts from UW but now, when it is obvious what happened, I`ve been demoted and lost a badge of Rising Talent.
I asked for another opinion here...
https://community.upwork.com/t5/Freelancers/Odd-development-of-dispute/m-p/458010
... and even after two moderators took part, where one of them announced that another look at the dispute will be taken - what did I get in return - rhetorical question from dispute team !?
Shall I mention that my rating is still the same and there`s no badge on my profile !?

Hi Daniel,
Keep on delivering great results on your projects, follow the requirements for our Rising Talent program and you will get the badge back. As Rising Talent, you must:

Hi Goran,
A rhetorical question as a reply may or may not be polite but you must agree that replying with copy/paste message must be a whole another ball game.

Hi Daniel,
I`m sorry about this, I never meant this to come as a copy/paste answer. I shared all of the requirements about the program just as a guideline. If you have additional questions fell free to post them here and I`ll answer them.

The Rising Talent badge isn't an entitlement. You only have one completed job on your work history now. Why not just work on the open job that you have, do well and keep working? There are things to complain about in life but missing a little label next to your name isn't one.

Hi Tonya,
You`ve made this quite personal while I`m pretty much sure we have never met nor exchanged a word before.
If only you read my posting instead...
A couple of guys tried a confidence trick on me and it didn`t work - I closed the project and moved on. Some 10 days later I`m a subject of dispute... well, the rest is already written. That`s when demotion occurred.

Cutting to the bottom line: The client likely did not leave 100% happy feedback (public and / or private) which counts towards your metrics.

So, they were not 100% happy since I did not fell for a trick? Oh, how rude of me.

I think there's a language issue here. He's saying that a client tried to scam him and he refused to do what they wanted so they retaliated and he lost his Rising Talent badge because of it. (I don't really know what happened personally, but I think that's what he means.)
(Daniel, please change your English level to "conversational" as you are not fluent, much less "native or bilingual.)

Yes, that is indeed what I thought it means. "Successful" contracts are contracts that end with happy clients.
Contracts that do not end with happy clients (regardless of the personal attributes of said clients) don't count as successful contracts.

This contract was "successfully" closed after a few days of vague excuses ("I`d really activate the 2nd milestone (of 2 in total) but I just don`t know how" / I`m paraphrasing) and my rude refusal to send final delivery through a private email. My rating and badge are still intact.
Some 10 days later dispute was initiated, I received 90 contacts from UW but a few weeks later I`m demoted and am receiving rhetorical questions as a reply to my plea for an ending of exposure to false accusations.

Apparently, both of you understood me properly.
Could you please be so kind and a tad bit more specific in regards to "language issue"?
(Charles, your opinion is noted but my current choice is based on opinions coming from some other native English speakers)

@ Daniel L. --
Regardless of what your buddies tell you, your English is NOT at a Native/Bilingual level. Charles is correct.
If you would like my credentials/qualifications to judge your language level (aside from my status as a native speaker of English), please understand that I have taught and assessed ESL (English as a Second Language), and that I am a professional English teacher (certified and licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA), as well as a professional writer, editor, and proofreader (English).
ETA: Here is an entry from your profile: I`ve started small animation studio, went trough a couple of short films. Currently working on a two festival entries and preparing tv series.
Here is how the entry would be written be a true Native English speaker: I've started a small animation studio, [delete previous comma] and went gone through [even after correcting for your grammar and spelling: what do you mean by "gone through" ?? -- do you mean "produced"? "acted in"? "directed"?] a couple of short films. [I am] [c]urrently working on a two festival entries and preparing a TV series.

Janean,
Many thanks for your time and input.
"Here is how the entry would be written be a true Native English speaker: ..."
Would you recognize this quotation as a constructive approach?

Hello Daniel,
While I understand that losing something you earned using your skills and hardwork could be a cause for your reaction, I would not worry about it that much since you still have the skills and portfolio that could earn you another opportunity to reclaim your desired status. I think its nothing personal, in life and business we win some and lose some but we still move on doing what we can. Have a great day.

Hello Olusola,
Many thanks for your kind words.
As you could notice, I do share your opinion and was already moving on when I was dragged back and through the mud of false accusations. I`m sure there must be some viable explanation for all of this - hence my writing here.
Feb 14, 2018 06:06:16 AM by Petra R
Daniel, a significant percentage of contracts that close without feedback counts against your metrics. At this stage your percentage of contracts that were closed without feedback seems to be 100%
At any rate, the badge is gone, move on and work towards your JSS which you'll get after completing 4-5 jobs.
Feb 14, 2018 08:43:25 AM by Daniel L
Petra, your reply resonates with a familiar approach which makes me wonder - did you missed the part in which I moved on but was dragged back, perhaps the one in which I dismantled accusations or could it be the one in which, after a few weeks of futile attacks, I received rhetoric question as a response to my plea for closure?
Let us put aside, for now, the moment in which demotion occurred.
