Hello,

My name is Tanya Suder. Upwork notified me of an invitation to accept an interview. I tried to accept, but received an error message. It read, something wrong. Try again.  According to the job post, it is closed. I am not sure what to do  now.

thanks

Tanya

If the job post is closed it means you need to do nothing because the job is no longer available.

If you go to your archived proposals you'll see it in there. Click on it and look at the top right for the reason why the job is no longer available.

As a new freelancer you need to treat all invites with a degree of suspicion as most will be scams....

Here's a rough overview what to look out for:

Hi Tanya,

This means the job has already been filled or been taken down for some reason. Happens a lot. Some clients go for the first person that replies as they have a deadline, so the job isn't open for interview for long. I had a similar experience yesterday.

Nothing you can do. Just carry on looking for other jobs.

Best wishes,

Louisa
