Accidentally selected the wrong hourly contract to track.


accidentally selected the wrong hourly contract to track. I need to track to some other client but I select and track to the other one. What should I do? I have done work for 1hr and the contract I should track is for the wrong person. Please help me out quickly on this.

I had such a situation. I removed the snapshots from the contract and asked the other person to add the time manually. But I was sure that the client would allow and pay. Because time added manually is not protected by Upwork

I did the same thing today, first Time its ever happened to me, but managed to work the day yesterday on the wrong contract!


The hours cannot be swapped apparently. You need to go into the client you have booked it to and delete the tracked time, then add it as manual hours to the contract that should have received it.
