Accidently refreshed Upwork profile while vpn was on!

Hello, 

I was working on some work had vpn activated in a new tab of chorme. After work was done, I closed that tab but forgot to turn off VPN, and I refreshed my Upwork page, which is always logged in, the same second I remembered to turn vpn off, I went back to tab where I was earlier working, switched it off, and then refreshed my profile page again. 

My Upwork profile is working fine till now, but I am just curious whether it will have any effect...!!!

Hi Nawazish,

In general, using a VPN is not a violation of Upwork's TOS and it shouldn't affect your account. However, be advised that if there are inconsistencies with your IP address, your account may be flagged to prevent unauthorized access to your account. The team will definitely notify you if there are any such concerns.
