Account suspended for unknown reason

Hello,

I am writing in the name of my colleague whos account has just been suspended for apparently no reason. We have recently worked on a few projects together (I helped him when needed) and received good feedbacks and ratings. Today, his account was suspended with 400 $ pending in balance and now that money has been reversed and he can't have access to it. So, since he can't write I am writing for him to ask for help because I am sure he and we both haven't done anything to provoke such action in any way. If some of the moderators or anyone who can help can answer me or message me for more private info about his profile I would be very thankful. I am only fighting for justice here, and at least a fair reason of why this was handled in such a way. Hope to get some useful info or help. Thanks

What is the purpose of having this forum if a suspended user cannot write himself then? You can't help anyhow?

 You have no contracts on your profile so you must have been both working from his profile which is a serious violation in itself.

At any rate, Upwork and this forum can not discuss a third party’s account, and you would be well advised to think of your own account first when there is a link to an already banned one...... You may just end up joining him.

We do not formaly work together. I've just helped him as a friend, since we've been to college together and eveything. I've just helped him with certain parts, AS A FRIEND. That has nothing to do with two people using one account. It's a a private thing so don't mix that up.

It stops being a private thing when it starts to involve work your friend was given by a paying client who has a right to expect that nothing about their project is made available to any third party not hired by the client.

He was ok with it since he needed the project finished in 2 days and it was very urgent for him. He was very pleased and gave a good feedback so I don't see that as a big problem here.

 He's a man of mystery. Not only because his profile isn't his, but nobody understands what he's saying most of the time because English: Fluent and he knows it better than a native because his mom told him so and because it's nto a big deal to know english well you can do just fine.
