Account suspended

Yesterday I received this message:

Ok, my account was reactivated in the meantime, but I dont know if I'll keep using Upwork at this point. How do they know if I got paid outside of the platform? Besides, that's not true. I have other clients I work with, and I found them outside Upwork. So, I have no idea what they are talking about. I asked them when did I accept payment outside Upwork and they didn't even reply. I fear it will happen again and they will close my account. Any help?

Anything anywhere in your messages that could possibly be "misinterpreted?"

 

Could any client you have worked with or have communicated with have given Upwork the impression that you might want to get paid outside the platform?
