Account transfer

A client I have worked with for years requested customer service to transfer her personal Upwork account to another account she uses all the time to send me job offers. The transfer  has not taken effect yet.  I contacted customer service myself and they can't provide an answer about when the change will take effect. I would like to know how much time these things take. I need this information because here on Upwork, when a client makes a small mistake hiring, if I'm not double checking everything this very frecuent client does and I don't detect that there is an error in the job offer, then it can potentially harm my livelihood . I have wasted many hours trying to fix this.
