Active Proposal Not Active Anymore

Hello! 

I submitted a job proposal last week and the client sent me a message a few days later, saying that I was shortlisted. They started hiring people a few days ago and the job is still open, but when I check my proposal page, the proposal doesn't look active anymore. Does that mean that the client eliminated me?

If it is no longer under "Active proposals" then yes, the client will have decided not to pursue the matter any further.

Hi Esra,

I checked and it looks like the proposal you're referring to is now archived because the job post has been closed. There are a number of reasons for this, the client may have hired another freelancer or decided they did not want to receive any more proposals and closed the job post. Rest assured, this does not close the message room you have with the client so you're still able to continue the interview if you're both interested in working together.
