Activity on this job.

I need to know specifically what is the meaning of this. step by step

Activity on this Job Proposals: Less than 5 Last Viewed by Client: 3 hours ago Interviewing: 2 Invites Sent: 13 Unanswered Invites: 6

If the job proposal is less than 5 how could he sent 13 interviews??

I noticed that if they invite you but reject your bid then it doesn't show up.

There have been fewer than 5 (independent) proposals on the job offer.

The client has sent 13 invitations to bid.

The client is interviewing 2 of the 13 invited

6 people who have been invited have not answered the invitation.

Thanks for this explanation but what does it mean when it says Hires: 1? Does that mean someone was already hired for the job? If so, why does it still show up in the job feed?

Yes, it means someone has been hired, but it still shows up if the client hasn't closed the project listing on their end.

Alternatively, there is this option showing up from time to time on some job posts: Hired:1

Quite misleading. I started wondering what's the difference. I thought "Hires:1" meant the client needs to hire only one freelancer for this job whille "Hired:1" meant the client has already hired one freelancer for the job, which seems quite logical. Alas, it's not (always) the case. Because I have evidence that "Hires:1" could mean "the client has already hired one freelancer for the job".
I wonder how "Activity on this job" is updated after all - is it automatically, at what intervals and is the information reliable.
