Hello, I just finished a job for a client - but the client wants me to do more work, and just bill him on our original contract.
So I have been paid for my job (contract is still open) - and he wants me to do more work and just bill him on our open contract.
I would bill him by the job - and not the hours.
Any help would be great... thank you so much!

Hi Nick,
You can add a new milestone in the same contract by visiting your contract's page and clicking the button "add/edit".
Your client will have to approve, fund, and activate it.
By the way, don't submit any work before the milestone is funded and activated.

Hmm, I'm on the contract page - and I don't see an "add/edit" option?
I do see an "Add a to-do" option. But that's it?

In the message room, there is a Propose a new milestone link, can click that to suggest to client what new milestone you want setup for the new task. Wait until he adds your proposed milestone, funds it, then start working.

Ask the client to add a milestone. In my experience (as a freelancer) that takes a few seconds.

That's what I was thinking - he asked me to add them - but I'll just have him add them on his side.
Thank you so much! 🙂
