If you, using your full legal name, are a legal signatory on the financial account, then you MAY INDEED use that account as your payment withdrawal method.
This is often the situation with spouses who have a joint checking or savings account.
But if your name is not on the account, then NO, you may not use it with Upwork to withdraw money. Usually when it comes to PayPal and Payoneer, that means you can not use the account, because the account is not in your name.
So you need to add your name to the account. Or set up an account of your own.
