Adding Paypal as payment method Issue :- /

Hi,

I am trying to add Paypal as payment method but I see this message (attached).

I don´t understand why is deactivated because the beneficiary name does not match the name on my Upwork account.

For example my Upwork name is Diana Hudson.

My name in Paypal is the same. Diana Hudson.

Can anyone help?

Hi Diana,

I checked and it looks like you've removed the said payment method. You can try again, and if you encounter issues with name mismatch, please let us know.

PayPal (xxxx@gmail.com) was added, but the name on this withdrawal method and name on your Upwork account don’t match exactly. You’ll need to correct the name mismatch to use this method. Learn more about next steps.

I have the same problem. My PayPal withdrawal method is inactive more than 3 days. Try to reconnect it several times but it didn't solve issue. Profile Name and the Withdrawal Acccount same.

The above keeps happening to me too, despite my name and address being the same on Upwork and Paypal, it says the names are mismatched and I cannot link my Paypal Account to Upwork - may I request assistance?
