My client and I have mutually agreed to change a milestone date - so that there is more time to accomplish a task — but we're not sure how to make the change. Is there a method or workaround?

You can't change it, but it doesn't matter. No one but you and your client cares about that date. If you have agreed on a new date, you can just ignore it and it will have no negative impact on either of you.

Thanks, I appreciate the quick answer.

Just to clarify - the amount in escrow is simply something that will be released whenever the milestone is completed and approved, correct?
