All jobs showing (incorrectly) as "previous client" and the client's name....

I love that you can now see on your job feed that a job has been posted by a previous client.  My question - Does the previous client get similar information when you send a job proposal?

Hi Mary,

At this point "Previous Client" badge only shows in Job Search and Feed, so only on freelancer's side. However, something like "Previous Freelancer" badge showing on proposal is an interesting idea. Let me share it with the team.

Thanks, Valeria.  I always identify myself as someone they have worked with before, but a badge or something would be great and save some of my proposal real estate.

They have a bug right now.

Previous client getting displayed for every project in the feed irrespective of your history with the client.

Hi Team,

There is a UI bug in Upwork as all the job posting is showing as a previous client at the top. Please have a look and check it out.

If there is a bug that can violate clients' privacy this much, I have no idea if this is how Upwork would like to instill confidence in clients that their info is private and secure.

Cos all clients' names are now showing, whether you worked with them before or not.

For a moment this made me completely shocked. I thought why in this world many of my previous clients posted their jobs and not even get a single invite.

It also seems that I can apply for the second time for the same project (although it might be a duplicate announcement).

Upwork should take down the site for maintenance, because clients' full names are also clearly visible. This will result in an invasion of privacy and a huge nuisance if freelancers try to contact them directly.
