Am I eligible for Rising Talent Badge?

Hello Community,

I have joined Upwork befor a week ago. After joining I was suspended at second day. I have verified my ID and reinitiated my account. Am I eligiable for Rising Talent Badge?

Fortunately, the widespread obsession with the rising talent badge is largely misplaced. You can't "earn" it and it's very short-lived anyway, since you lose it as soon as you have enough ratings to get a job success score.

To become a Rising Talent freelancer on the platform, you will have to meet the following requirements: 

• Maintain a 100% complete profile that accurately showcases your professional credentials
• Keep your availability status up-to-date
• Regularly submit proposals to projects relevant to your skill set
• Adhere to the Upwork Terms of Service
• Deliver great results to your clients
• Complete your projects on time and as promised
• Have been active in the past 90 days (submitting proposals or delivering work)

As you haven't got it, you're not.

It's automatic, If you're eligible, you get it automatically. If you don't get it automatically, you are not eligible.

Also, your 2 completed jobs don't look all that promising. One was supposed to be long term and ended after $5, and the client in the other left you the lowest feedback they ever left a freelancer so I don't think a Rising Talent badge is coming your way any time soon.

Hi Petra,

Actually the Client that left me a 4 star rating changed it to 5 stars and left me a good feedback, and for the other one the client was not responsive so I sent him a message about ending the contract because I'm no longer receiving any responses from him.

It makes no difference because the private feedback (which is what counts) can't be changed and it is terribly unprofessional to bother a client to change feedback.

You can't expect a rising talent badge with a fake profile picture. Anyway you can expect that your profile might get suspended again.
