An offer has expired. How can I fix it?

Hi, there.
I have forgotten accepting the offer of the client.
So I have received an Upwork email that says " an offer has expired".
How can I fix it? And is this influencing my profile? What should I do?
Can somebody answer what to do now, please?
Thanks.

Hi David,

If the offer expired, the client will have to send you a new offer. Once you accept the offer, you'll have an active contract with the client. Please, don't work on the project without an active contract under your My Jobs tab.

Thanks, Riri.
I will follow you.

Dear, Riri.
So you mean, the client has to post the job for me and send the offer?
I have listened to your answer and asked him.
But, he said to me "Not allowing me to send a new offer".
Please tell me what the client should do.

Thanks.

Hi David,

Can you tell your client to contact us via Community or Customer Support hereIt's nice of you to ask for him but for privacy reasons, we won't be able to share this with you. We can help you with general inquiries but we would like to encourage your client to contact us directly regarding account specific issues with his account.

Dear. Riri.

I want to say sorry first.
The client has solved the issue.
So I have just accepted his new offer and can start the contract.
I have received the offer message as soon as I have posted the new one.
I want to cancel this but I don't know how to do it.
I am sorry for the busy upwork team members.
Thank you very much.
David
