Can you tell the Upwork community more about the scam, without getting *Edited for Community Guidelines*?
Is the scam newsworthy?
Is it laugh-worthy?

I don't think it is newsworthy - and it's not worth a laugh. Some company in New Zealand that keeps posting jobs and interviewing (ha-ha) over 50 applicants & asking for interviews on Hangouts. They say you have to reply really fast because they will be taking down their job post. That means you have to reply before Upwork takes it down. Ha!

If you took the time out to learn how to spot scam jobs you would not have wasted your time and effort in creating and sending proposals to those kind of jobs.
Interviewing over 50 applicants. - not really worth IMO applying to and probably a scam. Unless you have some unique skills that those other 50 ALREADY in the interview stage. skip these kind of jobs.
Hangouts. - a WELL known scam site. (don't even bother reading the rest of the job description.
Apply fast they will be taking down their job - no they won't UPWORK will be taking it down. Apply fast because these scammers want to reel in as many new freelancers as possible before their job goes down.
