Hello all,
I have been on Upwork for just over a year now and while I have found some success in acquiring work, I feel like offers have been declining for a bit now. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to build a creative, and efficient cover letter when applying for projects? If so, please feel free to share below.

Don't have a cover letter.
I do not have a cover letter.
A proposal is not a cover letter.
I NEVER TALK ABOUT MYSELF in proposals.
Clients don't care about you.
I talk about what clients care about:
The client's project.
How I will make the client's life better by working on the project.

I never thought about it like that before since other places always say the opposite. That is good advice. I will try doing this instead. I appreciate it. Thank you!

Try to show that you understand and can solve the client's problem. The vast majority of cover letters and proposals on Upwork and generic templates that are sent from content farms so the more personal you can make yours the better it is for you.
