App for Android 4.1.2

Hi Everyone,

I would like to know if there is an Upwork App for Android 4.1.2

The current app won't run on my phone.

Thanks!

Kevin

That is 6 years old.... In App / OS Years that's approaching dinosaur...

Hi Petra,

Thanks for your feedback.

My Androidassourus refuses to update, saying it is using the most up to date software for this phone. Is there some way to bring the phone up to speed?

Best,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

We will check this with our team and get back to you once we have more information. We appreciate your patience while we look into this.

Edited to add:

The current Android app only supports Android 4.2 and higher. Your device needs to be on these OS versions to get our Android app.

Hi again Bojan,

In case it is useful, here are the specs of my phone:

MODEL   LG-E410

ANDROID VERSION 4.1.2

SOFTWARE VERSION:  V10E

MEMORY: 9.13 GB

Thanks again,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I'm not much of a tech guy but would personally suggest to try some of the steps and solutions shared in this article.  Thank you

Upwork

Hi Goran,

Thanks for your feedback.

I read the article you linked and, unfortunately, it included the statement that "There are no obligations from the manufacturers to support updates for older models."

I conclude from this that it will not be possible to update my phone, as it states that the device has the most up to date version that it can run.

Best,

Kevin
