Applying for a job

I am not exactly a new bee, I did some work when it was odesk but had challenges accessing my money. So I saw no need to continue. But things have now changed, I can access my money through PayPal. Hence I have come back. However, so much has changed, I have found interesting jobs but I failing to submit my applications. Whenever I try to apply for a job, a page for membershi plan comes up. I don't know what to do from here.

Could you please go to Settings - Memberships & Connects tab and please try choosing one of the available Membership plans?

Please note that Basic Membership doesn't include free connects. This can vary based on your location, but all Upwork users will be able to purchase Connects with a credit card or prepaid card. If you aren’t able to use a credit card or prepaid card or you don’t have an Upwork balance, in many cases you’ll be able to use PayPal. Check the options available to you and learn more about acceptable billing methods for paying memberships.
