Am I remembering incorrectly, or did we used to be able to archive active proposals? I have a number of proposals for which someone has now been hired, and I'd like to get them out of the list.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Thanks, Juvy Ann, but I don't want to withdraw the proposals in case the clients eventually decide to look for someone else on that project. I just remember there being an "Archive" button that I could click to move the proposals from Active to Archive so I can clean out the clutter. Maybe I'm imagining things?

Thanks, Vladimir. Maybe I am thinking of the active candidacies.
You can "hide" active candidacies. They pop up from time to time, but mostly, they stay hidden.
Could the best solution be to simply decline the active proposals that no longer interest you ( since you already hired someone else) ?
In this way, you will get them out of your way, and at the same time, the candidate ( for whom the proposal is also still active since you still haven't declined it ) will finaly get his/her answer to his/her candidature ?
Thanks Mila, but I'm a freelancer too.
Other people were hired for those contracts, but the clients were not as considerate as you and I would like and did not close the jobs. That's why they're still in my list.
Mila and Nedra,
Proposals will be automatically archived if the client closes the job or if it expires. Job posts expire after 30 days of inactivity.
I have the same "problem".
Just figured project, somebody else was hired for it, he was paid already, but project is not closed yet. So it stays in my list, however I had link to click to archive it. Any way it's inconvinient.
Can we have somehow "auto-get-rid" from my eyes/lists once somebody else got hired or (and) payed. Best could be automatic move to "archived".
After a client hires for their project, they have the option of leaving the project open to further hiring. Some clients may want to hire more than one freelancer for their project. You don't need to withdraw your proposal. The client may still select you in some cases, or you can just leave it and move to the next opportunity.
A job posting will get closed automatically after 30-days of inactivity on that job posting.
