I have a very specific problem.
Currently I am being interviwed by a client who is completely new to Upwork. We have finalised on working together for this project on an hourly contract but since he is new here he has no idea about the process of setting up a contract and asked me for assistance. Is there anyvway someone could help me out with that?
Thank you in advance!
Please ask your client to verify their billing method if they haven't already, use the Hire button either from your proposal or directly from your profile, set the terms in their offer to reflect the hourly rate and weekly limit you agreed on and send you the offer. Once you accept the offer a contract will be created and you can start using the Desktop app to log time on the contract. Your client should review the Work Diary regularly and verify that work has been completed as agreed. The payment will be processed as explained in these two articles: https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211067938-Pay-for-Hourly-Contracts and https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211068218-Pay-for-Fixed-Price-Contracts.
Please ask your client to review these resources and contact Customer Support if they need further guidance.
