My friend and colleague's account email got deleted by the agency and he has no longer access to his account.

How can he recover his password and change the associated email?

To reset the security question or password, your friend can fill in the account recovery form on this page. This will automatically create a support ticket, and one of our agents will assist them in regaining access to the account. You can also let your friend know to reach out to us on any official Upwork social media channels so that we can assist them further.
