Attempted scam by freelancer

I was communicated with direclty via my website interface from **Edited for community guidelines**

.  He  wanted me to semd him money direclty via PayPal. I said I would only go thorugh Upwork. He gave me his "wife's profiel" **Edited for community guidelines**.  Then when I deposted the moey in escrow he tired to change the terms of the agreement.

Report him and find a new freelancer. It's against TOS to ask for payment anywhere else other than UpWork.

This sounds like an all-around dishonest freelancer.

I hope an Upwork Forum Moderator will help get this information to the right people.

The Upwork account of this person's "wife" really needs to be completely terminated... because this person is clearly trying to circumvent payment through Upwork, which is a major ToS violation.
