Auto payment when balance is less than $1K

this happened to me this morning while I was sleeping - upwork made payment to my payoneer but my balance was not higher than $1K.

Support agent told me they are going to investigate.

Have anyone experienced this?

Has the rule of <$1K for auto withdrawals been changed recently?
