Hi Upwork !
Don't know if I posted my remark correctly... but here it is :
Often, when opening a job offer that just got published, I see that there are already 20...50 applicants. This is not humanly possible and this looks like keyword-based applications -> there must be some bots out there that continuously scan the Upwork market. Would you confirm my impression ?
If so, this unfair behaviour has to be stopped and I wonder whether you should not add a captcha when submitting offers, so to filter those automatisms out.
your feedback appreciated.
Yves

Well. It is possible for 21+ people to all really want that job at the same time given the number of freelancers that seek work here. But I'm an artist so people generally don't care what I have to say in a proposal. Makes things somewhat quick.

If you consider how many people are using Upwork at any one time, 20-50 applications for a job really isn't that many. Don't worry about it! Some of those proposals are probably rushed and pretty poor. Just send your proposal and if it's good enough, it'll make an impression.
