Automatic payment

Upwork auto sent my funds into a non-functioning PayPal email and I was told the money will be returned to my Upwork account. Today is the 21st day and I have no idea of where my money is.

How will I get money transferred back to my Upwork account.

Hi Tobias,

 

Can you please check the PayPal account you set up as your payment method to check if the funds were received there? If not, please contact PayPal CS in order to check the status of the transaction. 

 

Make sure you keep your payment methods updated to avoid similar difficulties in the future.

Hi Vladimir, the PayPal Gmail the money was sent to is not attached to any PayPal account. How will I get the money back to my upwork account? Thanks.

 So why did you set it up as your withdrawal method?

What did PayPal say when you contacted them?
