Hi. The list BRSTN codes for Philippine banks did not include the one for BPI Family Savings Bank. Should I use the Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) instead?
Would appreciate a prompt reply.
Michael provided the correct information. And the BRSTN code for Bank of the Philippines Islands is applicable to all the bank's products.
Hope this clarifies things!
i have the exact same question and i thought that was the case. The only thing is, my friend was told to get a CS ticket initiated to look at the issue. Now I'm not sure if i had to just use the BPI one or to just wait till CS look at the issue first.
I know what you replied here was pretty straight forward. I just got confused with what i was told to do. I just want to make sure there'll be no issue as someone has had issue with this before as i read from a different forum.
Hope you can help. Thanks in advance!
Hi Joice, and Maria Marilyn,
The bank has confirmed that they are using the same BRSTN code for both BPI and BPI Family Savings. I hope this clarifies things!
Yes I am using the BPI code to have money transferred to my BPI Family Savings account. I've used direct to bank transfer and Payoneer right now and I've never had an issue. BPI Savings and BPI Family Bank uses the same code.
