How am I able to get bad review removed. I feel like this has really impacted my JSS. I have always been a over and beyond freelancer and then I get 1 client. The client came to me to work on her medical billing. She had nothing together.
She did not know if any of her client had prior authorizations
She did not know if she was In Network or Out of Network
She did not know when the last time she billed her insurance clients
To beat it all her communication was horrible I could never contact her.
Needless to say I still had the patience to sit on the phone for countless number of hours to figure this all out with nothing to work with, gotten prior authorizations she needed, and completed the billing she needed and she made it look as if I did NOTHING! It was horror. Now she leaves me this bad review after all of the honest reviews I have received during my time here with Upwork. How can I have this removed?

If you are not Top Rated you cannot remove client feedback unless you refund the entire amount you earned on the contract.
But this only removes the public text feedback you're seeing. The private feedback remains in the calculation of your Job Success Score.
Removal of feedback by a Top Rated freelancer can delete both the public and private feedback.
It sounds like you more than earned what the client paid you. Another option is to leave the public feedback untouched and post a reply that is factual, succinct and clearly outlines all the major problems you had dealing with this client. Her potential future freelancers will thank you.

1. refund the client
2. talk to the client, see if you can have them reverse it
3. you can reply publicly

Samer B.,
As you may know, even the client cannot change their own private feedback. They can revise their public feedback if the freelancer approves a change. But the freelancer does not know ahead of time what the changed feedback will be.

Hey Will,
Correct, the only way to remove private feedback is using the Perk. At times, a client may alter the Public feedback which is "better than nothing". Usually, most clients won't even respond to the request anyway, but its worth a try.

Thank You both for your feedback here is was so greatly appreciated. As a freelancer your best practice is to provide quality of work to your clients however, however when all fails due to the faults of the client you are looked like the bad person. I really appreciate your time and this is valuable lesson learn going forward.

Hello everyone. Thank God for a forum I also had an issue with a client , my very first client and now i am at a loss for what to do.
I am into Social Media Marketing and these things take time especially on ads running. As you need at least 3 days before you can start making concrete changes so it doesn't mess with the algorithm. But he already kept pestering me for results even before 24 hours were up and kept pushing disable manual timing and even with the proof of work i send still cancelled the contract then left a bad rating. Even at a point he contacted me off upwork and we chatted there ( I did not know better as I am a newbie), I worked extra time and now he left a 1.4 star rating on my profile. What do I do?

I had a job to 'remove malware' where we needed to wait around a week to make sure they're not coming back, and my tracked time was only 30 minutes. You have two jobs in that account. The manually entered 7 and 10 hours for posting ads, are probably what affected the client's decision to give you those stars, not because they wanted result in less than 24 hours.
What do I do?
You can refund the entire money to remove the public feedback where any private feedback will still be counted for your JSS later.
