Today I'm about to show you a subtle trick that you can use when you are communicating(verbally) with your client or with anyone.
To create AUTHORITY and ENGAGEMENT.
This trick has helped me a lot, to CONVEY my message in an authoritative and in valuable manner.
And this can also help YOU if you just try this properly.
It's about the speed when you speak.
Now the question arises - When you should speak FAST and when you should speak SLOW?
If there's something, which is not that much important. You should speak fast but don't be tooooooooooooo much fast or else the other person will not understand a single thing you said and you'll be there standing/sitting like a clown🤡.
And vice versa, if it's something improtant than you should speak slow like a wise old tortoise.
Because if you only speak fast(in a monotnous speed), the brain will predict things.
And if it's predictable (which is the speed in this matter),
Then it's boring,
If it's boring then it's not engaing,
If it's not engaging, then the client won't engage with you.
If the client won't engage with you, he's not going to listen what you have to say.
Which is going to decrease your authority and credibilty while making you look under-confident and awkward.
And when you change your speed from fast to slow, this will cause a change in other person's brain, forcing the other person to give their full attention because its not predictable anymore.
This was the trick I use to subtly increase my Authority and make Message clear and understandble.
