Hi everyone,
I was making some research on Upwork because I would like to become a full-time freelancer. I've started my experience here in November 2017 and I can say that I'm satisfied with what I've achieved in the first months working only some hours per day, but now I'm facing some difficulties to find longterm clients with decent rates. I'm continuously refusing job offers with very low rates and it seems that most of the clients do not intend to pay more.
During my research, I found some agencies that I think can be great to offer me the continuous work that I wish and where I can offer my skills, but I don't know how can someone be part of these teams.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks,
Elisa

Hi Elisa,
The only way to be part of the agency is to be invited by the agency owner or agency admin. I'm not sure why most clients who invite you have low rates, but hopefully this is only a "slump" and you will be able to attract the clients you are gunning for.
Good luck!
