Beneficiary name is mismatched

My direct to bank payment method has been deactivated since my upwork account name does not match the name in my bank account---this is because I previously used my nickname when I created this account.

But I have already edited my details to replace my nickname with my full name here in upwork. Any chance you could have my payment method activated already?

Hi all,

 

Our account support team actively reviews verified name mismatches. Please allow up to 48 hours for the team to review the name mismatch on your account. If our team finds an issue with your payment method, we will reach out to you directly with instructions on how to correct it. You can learn more about this here.

 

If it’s been more than 48 hours and you still see the name mismatch notification on your account, a quick way to contact support is by clicking the "Get Support" button that shows at the bottom right corner of this page.

I still have issue with same issue   The beneficiary name is mismatched

Hi there, I'm having the same problem. I actually took a break since last year, but nothing changed to my profile. I used to withdraw my balance successfully before without any problem, now I added a new bank account with new account number that I just opened last year it's still the same. I thought the problem is my old bank account because that was my old payroll account few years ago. Can somebody help me about this?

Hi

I had the same problem with my name but I am not change andy name or account details. it showing The beneficiary name is mismatched but I am not change any  thing in my accoutn.

please helop me whit htis issue

Greetings,

 

I am facing the problem, My direct to bank account payment method is deactivated. It shows something like "Your beneficiary name dosent match". Please help me, I have to withdraw my funds because i have to pay bills. I am in trouble.

Muhammad Nadeem is not my name.

My correct name is AsadUllah Shaheen.

I set up that name by mistake.So please change it to AsadUllah shaheen or my new payment method.
