Best Match criteria on Job proposal

Basically, I want to know how Upwork ranks the job proposals. What is the most important thing to rank on the higher level? And is there any special requirement to be the best match?

Thank you for your message. If you are referring to the Best Match recommendation available on jobs post for the client's account, there is a combination of factors that lead to these recommendations. The algorithm takes a variety of factors into account while recommending the Best Match freelancers for the job post. Most of these factors are aligned to the requirements selected and mentioned by the client while posting a job. If a client posts a job choosing an 'Entry-level freelancer' option and states they are looking for a simple task to be completed then the 'Best Match' will show them freelancers that match these requirements.
