An unnecessary amount of time is wasted clicking/perusing topically appealing jobs and reading the details within the job description for information that could be easily screened via filters.
I find that the vast majority of detailed descriptions I read are not feasible due to client's historical average rate, prior hires, etc. There is a vast geographic, socioeconomic, education, work experience, etc. range represented here. If we all must read between the lines, efficiency is lost.
How about at minimum, oDesk add a filter that allows us to screen jobs based upon the three dollar sign category. I am sure there are many others that would appreciated the ability to quickly distinguish between clients seeking bargains and those seeking "top talent" without hiring a full-time employee.
