Bid system is BAD- By Top Rated Plus

Even though I am Top Rated Plus my visibility since the Bid system came is extremely decreased, making me a big expense in connecting points and a waste of time.

Of course, my problem is not how I write Cover Letter as I already had a great experience for over 2 years.
Can anyone solve this?
Give free connections points?

Upwork used to be my biggest source of income and in the last 2 months, this has changed by far, considering quitting the platform if this stay like this, its sad but is becoming very time-consuming.

I am on the same boat! Worked super hard to earn "Top Rated", now I get almost no replies to proposals or invites, it is absolutely horrible. I am trying other channels that don't exploit freelancers. It is a shame because I liked  Upwork before the bidding war.
