Big drop-off in invitations...?

Hi Everyone,

I have been experiencing a huge drop-off in invitations over the past 3-6 months. I barely ever get any now, and never from prospective clients, only  from Talent Specialists suggesting I submit a proposal. I can't put my finger on the reason. Prior to this period of time I was receiving about 8-10 a week on average. Never a huge amount, but more than enough for me. Does anyone have a similar experience, or, ideas why this happens? I am on the site several times a day and routinely add portfolio items. I don't know what else to try.

The search algorithm works on a rotation basis. So you may be promoted more at times, and less during other times. I will go months where I get a bunch of invites, and there will be months where I get much less. You are also in a very competitive area. You could try to aim for something more specific in order to rank for more specific key terms.
