Biiling Method charges

Dear Upwork,I have register before yesterday. yesterday I have give detail of my billing method but without any prior information upwork deduct 1 dollar from my account. Please let me know what is this?

I can confirm that the credit card verification process works as designed on our end. You can check this help article for more information about the verification process. Upwork may put a temporary $1.00 USD authorization hold charge on your credit card to confirm the card number is valid.
