Bonus pending query

Hello, i have been hired to finish two jobs amounting to $42.95, and the client paid me these as bonuses in a milestone contract as he stated he 'isnt able to pay it' for some reason normally? It has been about 40mins and for the first time ever these bonus payments are listed as pending where there is usually a date. Can anybody help me and make it clear that I will indeed be paid for my work?
