Boosted proposal

Boosted proposal nowadays has helped in getting a good response but in cost of loss of many more connects than usual. I cannot decide the risk-benefit ratio on this. I wanted to know if other freelancers out there are using it as a good option or not.

It has a high risk of loosing your connects!! I use to do this few days ago...now I just run out of my connects!!

Has boosting really helped you get more responses? Could you please share some stats of responses you received with and without boosting?
