Buying Credits to someone else

Hi,

I have a question. A friend of mine has an issue with her credit card and wanted me to help her out. Is it possible that I can buy her Upwork credits from my Upwork account?

No you cannot.

Upwork users can NOT share connects.

But:

Upwork allows users to use a credit card that belongs to someone else to purchase connects. As long as the person has permission to use that credit card, it is is okay.

The name does not need to match.

Thus: PAYING money to Upwork is different than WITHDRAWING money. When you withdraw money, the name on the withdrawal account must match.
