Hi everyone

I have a question a few days back I got an email from Upwork saying that your connects are expiring soon. But to me, it came as a surprise as I never bought an Upwork premium account or never bought any connects. I'm a free user and all the connects which I have are from a free account. Neither of my friends who have free accounts got any email. Why did I get this email?

Kindly help me understand this.

Hi Daniyal, Connects expire one year from the date of issue. Regardless of how they were issued.

I understand what you are saying but connects expire when you are on a plan
or you have bought some connects. I never bought any connects before I'm on
free basic plan. Why would my connects then expire ???

Hi Daniyal,

For accounting reasons, Connects need to have an expiration date.
