Can A Freelancer Send A Job Proposal To A Client?

Hi there,

Maybe someone could help me with my question:

Is it possible for a freelancer to send a job proposal directly to a client, with the client clicking "hire" to begin the contract? As far as I know, only clients can send proposals to freelancers.

My client typed: "Don't you as the "talent" have to enter your information and I click "hire"?"

Hi Mariya,

The way it usually works is that clients post jobs to the marketplace and freelancers submit proposals to those jobs. If the client is interested in your proposal they can message you to discuss the project further and send an offer from there. Once the freelancer accepts the offer, a contract is created.
