Can I BYOC a client referred to me by an Upwork client?

Hi. I've asked about this before,  and was told it was OK. But I'd like to make sure.

One of my Upwork clients had just referred a colleague to me. In this case the colleague works in another faculty of the same university. But in another case it might be someone from the same company. Can I ask the new client to hire me through BYOC? I'm bringing a new client to Upwork, but I've connected with her indirectly through Upwork. (I'm still under two years with the existing client.)

Hi Richard,

Yes, the client who was referred to you can certainly use your BYOC link to join Upwork and hire you.
