Yesterday I received an invitation to interview to ghost-write a non-fiction book. I declined the offer because I am too busy to commit to the whole project, but mentioned that I would be interested in writing articles or shorter pieces because I loved the perspective and message of their project.
My question is two-fold:
1. Can a client start a discussion based on a declined invitation?
2. Is there a way to propose a similar or partial job to a client a) who has sent an invitation to interview and/or b) whose job description is in the feed?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you decline the invitation, the message room isn't created for the client to follow up. However, you can go to the job posting and send your proposal to the client with new terms.
