Can I change a proposal after I submitted it? And if so, how?

Hi,

I just submitted a proposal. Part of the proposal was a small translation of a few sentences, but I just realized that one word has a tiny error and I want to correct that. However, apart from changing terms, I don't see any option to change my proposal letter or answers to the client's questions.

Is there a way to make those changes or is that impossible after you send you proposal ...?

re: "Can I change a proposal after I submitted it?"

Yes.

re: "And if so, how?"

You may withdraw your proposal entirely. And then re-submit a new version to the same job posting.

Which will cost additional connects.

This does not ALWAYS work.

It is possible that you withdraw the proposal and are no longer able to submit. This could happen, for example, if the client has removed the job posting.

Best plan: Don't worry about it.

If you had a tiny error in your proposal, it probably won't matter.

You'll need to decide if it is worth it to you to change a proposal.

If you applied to one of my jobs, don't bother to change your proposal. Because I don't even read the proposals. I mainly just look at a freelancer's portfolio.

Oh, I didn't even realize that some proposals may not be read.

I tried to withdraw the proposal and submit a new one, but it stated that I wouldn't be able to submit a new proposal after that, so I guess I'll just leave it as it is.

Thanks for your answer!
